With all of the paid survey activity on the Internet, it is easy to get paid to take surveys. More than 700 survey makers offer paid online surveys in the U.S. alone. Almost all of these are looking for more survey participants. Internationally you can get paid to take surveys made by over 3,000 different survey makers.
The challenge is not just to get paid to take surveys – that’s easy. The challenge is to find the legitimate paid surveys that pay well, avoid the time-wasters that don’t, and make money at it.
80% of the money is made through 20% of the survey makers and their surveys. From the point of view of those who want to really get paid to take surveys and make money in doing so, only about 1 in every 5 survey makers is truly worth dealing with. Another 40% are marginal, and about 40% are time wasters, to be avoided.
The key to making money with online paid surveys is in the list of survey makers that you sign up with as a prospective survey taker. You might think that it would be easy to get such a list, but it’s not. The survey makers that pay poorly or not at all are constantly losing participants and must recruit new ones.
They pay recruiting fees to anyone who can bring them “fresh meat”, new participants that don’t yet know the ropes. These high recruiting fees mean that anytime you go to look for survey makers on the Net, you will be inundated by offers for “free lists” and ads recruiting survey participants.
Almost all of the offers and ads you will see will be recruiting for the survey makers that don’t pay or don’t pay well. They are trying to fill recent vacancies left by participants who were expecting to get paid to take online surveys, were not paid, were disappointed, and quit.
You generally won’t find good lists where the survey makers are paying the list purveyors to recruit you.
But you can find a good list, one that will help you really get paid to take surveys, with one of those paid survey membership sites that maintain lists for their members. For a smallish membership fee they will share their list with you. You pay, so the guide will take you where YOU want to go.
When choosing your paid survey membership site, look for two things: 1. A very strong money-back guarantee, backed up by a financial company or bank. 2. A low refund rate under that guarantee. The guarantee means that the site stands behind its service; you like their service or it costs you nothing.
The low refund rate means that the current members like the service there and feel that they got full value for their small investment. You will want to join a group like that.
A high refund rate means many unhappy clients demanding their money back. This is a group you will want to avoid becoming part of.
There are sources of information on paid online surveys that can help you to really get paid to take surveys. You can start with a good, objective, paid survey review site like that cited below, for more explanation and information.

……….
most are scams
there are a ton at theguruseye this website has like 300 usa companies that you can join that are legitimate. they have reviews of survey sites that are available and they tell you how much can be made with each site.
I have participated in online surveys and got paid — but I've never had a company pay through Paypal, always checks. As such it may be difficult to find paid surveys for your location and payment preference.
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics — e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old — and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey — you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).
The article "Earning Money from Surveys" provide a short list of legitimate market research firms and contains explanations of what to look for when joining surveys (and weeding out the fraudulent ones)

I looked for a while for reviews or any way to make money online for a Canadian.
Every company and website I researched turned out to be a scam.
Don't waste your time is my suggestion, there is nothing out there. You're better off with "real world" money-making opportunities.
I agree with the previous answer, that it is possible to get paid for completing a survey.
But I think you are probably referring to ads in the classified that promise you that you can get paid taking surveys or doing data entry from home (or stuffing envelopes, which is another common one).
The bottom line is that many of these have been known to be fraudulent. Often they are trying to get YOU to buy into whatever scheme there is. If you are asked to pay money, that should be your first clue.
You may be able to get paid for taking *A* survey, but can you make a living from it? I doubt it.
To research, look at this: http://www.findpaidsurveys.org/?OVRAW=get%20paid%20to%20take%20surveys&OVKEY=get%20paid%20to%20take%20survey&OVMTC=standard . It's a site that tries to warn you about the illegit paid survey sites. Then they go and try to sell you something! Doesn't that sound even fishier? They gain credibility by WARNING of fraud. Pretty sneaky! (I can't comment on whether the offers on this site is legit or not. I'm just commenting to be aware of wasting your money, and just because someone warns you of fraud, it does not make them legit!)
Now read: http://jobsearchtech.about.com/od/jobs/a/paid_surveys_2.htm
And do a search for "paid surveys scam", like http://www.google.com/search?hs=ryS&hl=en&lr=&safe=off&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&q=paid+surveys+scam&btnG=Search
Scams are rampant in this area! Don't waste your money – even $30. If companies are desperate to get you to take a survey, I'm sure you can find them on the web WITHOUT paying a middle man $30.
what a douchebag LOL!!! ddeny pa eh huling-huli sa video na nangako sya.
what A.. hahaha
Hi! It totally depends on how much time you put into it.
Through simply filling out surveys (not completing offers or using referrals), if you sign up to all of those which I've listed and actively fill out and qualify for every survey you receive, you can make anywhere from a thousand to four thousand dollars a year, depending on the number of surveys you receive in a years time and how much each pays. I average about $1,500 a year.
There are a lot of tips & tricks you can use to optimize your time and help you make more money overall, I have a bunch as well as some video tutorials on my website: http://surveysafari.x10hosting.com/
